Founded in 1967 by Jim Scott, a former Southern California Edison Engineer, Scott Engineering began making custom pole line hardware later evolving into rack mountable and padmount equipment identifying the need for custom fabricated top-quality equipment to precisely fulfill the specific operating needs of each customer.
Our development from a small shop to our modern facility is evidence of Scott Engineering's ability to provide quality products that deliver value and durability in custom engineered packages. Scott Engineering was originally located in South El Monte, CA and moved to a larger facility in Temple City, CA. Later they relocated to an even larger facility in South El Monte, CA and finally moved to the present location in Walnut, CA around 1981.
In 2000, Scott Engineering became 100% Employee owned. Since becoming an ESOP, our company's growth rate has surged. In 2005, while continually looking for opportunities to improve and expand, we added an additional facility to our original Walnut, CA location virtually doubling our size. Scott Engineering has always been commited to quality and continuous improvement and look forward to meeting your expectations.
